New way of identification and verification of individuals

At ING Bank, we emphasize the safety and convenience of our clients and therefore we have decided to integrate the new Mitek Verified Identity Platform (MiVIP) into our systems. Through MiVIP we offer our clients the possibility of secure electronic identification and verification of individuals using advanced techniques such as facial biometrics, liveness detection, and ID document validation. We believe that by adopting MiVIP we are offering not only a safe and efficient solution but also a user-friendly one for our clients.

Modification of SK Convention for payment symbols

With effect from 18 March 2024, some payment institutions within Slovakia, including ING Bank N.V., a branch of a foreign bank, have been following the NBS Recommendation to slightly modify the SK Convention on Payment Symbols.
