International cards acquiring POS product conditions

As of 1 May 2023, the amended international cards acquiring POS product conditions are applicable.

In short, the following changes apply:


Article 9: Prohibited businesses 

We have revised our acceptance criteria and checks for accepting and refunding card payments. Among others, ING doesn't allow the Merchant to facilitate or accept Payments and Refund transactions for or on behalf of others (e.g., as a Payment Service Provider or 'Money Remittance Service Bureaus’). More details in the Product Conditions in Article 9.

Article 11: Compliance with PCI DSS and Payment Brand requirements

In article 11.4, the requirement to comply with the Honor all Cards rule of the Payment Brands has been made explicit.
