Great Place to Work® is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and leadership behaviors that drive business performance.

Singapore, 28 March 2024 – ING Singapore is proud to be officially Certified™ by Great Place To Work®, a prestigious recognition based entirely on feedback from our current employees about their experience working here.

Great Place To Work® is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and leadership behaviours proven to drive market-leading revenue, employee retention, and innovation.

Emilie de Comarmond, head of Human Resources for ING APAC, commented: "This recognition affirms the strength of our culture. It reflects the authentic voice of our employees and reinforces our position as a leading employer of choice."

Anand Sachdev, country manager for ING Singapore, added: "We are thrilled to be Great Place To Work-Certified™. Employee experience is a top priority for us, and we’re proud of the inclusive, empowering culture we’ve built. Our success is driven by our dedicated employees, and we thank them for making this achievement possible."

Sarah Lewis-Kulin, vice president of Global Recognition at Great Place To Work®, noted: "Great Place To Work Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the employee experience. This recognition is based solely on real-time feedback from employees about their company culture. ING Singapore clearly stands out as one of the top companies to work for, offering a truly great workplace environment."

At the heart of our People Strategy in the region is the Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DIB) Council. Since its inception, the Council has led several key initiatives to foster inclusivity and belonging across APAC. Notably, this year, over 200 employees participated in a panel discussion marking the launch of our Lioness network—a powerful testament to our commitment to gender equality and inclusion.

We’ve also transformed our talent review process, revolutionising how we identify and nurture talent across ING. In APAC alone, we held career development conversations with over 500 employees last year, spotlighting key individuals to help drive our growth strategy forward.

These initiatives are underpinned by a data-driven approach, using diversity metrics, talent segmentation, and development insights to shape our People Strategy.

At ING, we recognise the importance of investing in our employees’ professional growth. We offer sponsorships for both internal and external training programmes aligned with job responsibilities and career aspirations. Our people also benefit from access to more than 10 global academies tailored to specialised skill sets, supported by a world-class digital learning ecosystem—including platforms such as Udemy Business, Intuition, Gartner, and GetAbstract.
