An exception is made under European legislation for these so-called recurring transactions. This means that payment confirmation via the Mastercard ID Check is only necessary in the following situations:
- One-time when entering into an agreement for a recurring payment
- Once when changing the amount, frequency or details of the beneficiary
So for recurring payments on existing subscriptions and licenses no Mastercard ID Check is necessary.
