Enhancing our wellbeing
The purpose of ING's WQ program is easy and simple: it’s about enhancing our wellbeing. Together with our partners TomTom, Lifeguard and dacadoo, we would like to invite you to join our program around four elements: EAT, MOVE, SLEEP and RELAX.
In business schools around the world, people are taught the value of emotional intelligence quotient; so-called 'EQ'. However, other studies suggest that even with a highly developed EQ (and/or IQ), most leaders are ‘incomplete’. In fact, they went as far as to say that in many instances, the leaders fail the people they are responsible for. Why? Because they lack an awareness of the ‘Wellbeing Quotient' (WQ), and the role it plays in building resilience, in empowerment, and ultimately unleashing the full potential of individuals (Boaz and Fox, 2014).
High and low WQ
All other things being equal; a happy, motivated, healthy, and empowered workforce with a solid work life balance (high WQ) will outperform a tired, over-worked, unhappy, demotivated, stressed, depressed, medication and treatment-dependent workforce (low WQ) every day of the week.
The purpose of the WQ program is easy and simple: it’s about enhancing our wellbeing. Together with our partners TomTom, Lifeguard and dacadoo, we would like to invite you to join our program around four elements: EAT, MOVE, SLEEP and RELAX. Throughout this year, the journey will be delivered through the educate, explore and measure methodology and it will be all about achieving your personal goals. Through a dedicated device, captive WQ app and integrated content, you will be able to track your progress and results.
