Activate your ING I-Dentity Card
For security reasons, when you log into InsideBusiness, ING requires you to complete a verification step with your ING I-Dentity Card and Reader. Here you will find all the information you need to start using InsideBusiness.
Before you can start using your ING I-Dentity Card and Reader, you first need to activate your card. If this is your first card, follow these steps:
- If your company has appointed a Corporate Administrator, please contact him or her for the activation of your ING I-Dentity Card.
- In case no Corporate Administrator has been appointed, check the details on the acceptance form. Sign and return the form to the address stated on it. You will receive an email as soon as we have activated your card.
Your ING I-Dentity Card is valid for 4 years. ING will notify you from 60 days before the expiry date.
Card renewal and activation
There is no need to renew your Card, you can use your mobile app to login. Learn more about mToken or download and install the InsideBusiness app within minutes. You can find the InsideBusiness app in the app stores (for iOS and Android).
If your current card is about to expire, you have to request a new one and then activate it. Here’s how:
- After receipt of the new ING I-Dentity Card, log in to InsideBusiness and go to the Knowledge centre, then to ING I-Dentity Card renewal to activate your new card.
- Once you complete the process, your new ING I-Dentity Card will be activated and your old card will be automatically revoked.
