ING awarded Best Bank for Cash Management in W. Europe 2020 (Global Finance)
Global Finance announced its 20th annual rankings of the World’s Best Treasury & Cash Management Provider 2020 and ING has been awarded as Best Bank for Cash Management in Western Europe.
Next to this achievement ING has also been awarded as Best Bank for Cash Management in the Netherlands.
Every year, Global Finance evaluates entries from banks and input from industry analysts, corporate executives, technology expert and independent research to select the best treasury and cash management services providers. Profitability, market share and reach, customer service, competitive pricing and product innovation are among the criteria considered in the selection process.
“The payments sector is one of the most dynamic areas of the financial services industry. In order to stay a step ahead, ING has to constantly innovate. We do that by starting up our own ventures and by strategically taking minority or majority stakes,” said ING's CEO Ralph Hamers.
ING’s partnership with international payments platform TransferMate is one of the reasons for ING’s win and one the bank’s most recent offerings in the payments sector.
“Now more than ever, corporate leaders need real-time data to respond smartly to an environment being constantly reshaped by new technologies and new regulations,” said Josephh D. Giarraputo, publisher and editorial director of Global Finance.
“Our Treasury and Cash Management Awards showcase the banks that best support corporate clients with up-to-date insights and adaptive new strategies.”
